DARYL W. WHITE BIOGRAPHY
Daryl W. White, became the Department of the Interior’s CIO in March 1998 after serving as the Department’s Deputy CIO since the previous October. He is responsible IT acquisition and management through the development and implementation of integrated IT solutions and effective information resources management process that support the Department’s core business functions.
Prior to joining Interior, he served as the Deputy Director, Army Digitization Office. There he was responsible for the development and integration of advanced digital communications and information technologies to be field to the 21st Century Army.
Mr. White has received a number of honors and awards. Most recently, the Secretary’s Executive Leadership Award, 1999 & 2000. He earned a BA in History from Elmhurst College and a MBA from the University of Utah; and attended the U.S. Army War College.
