Robert M. Wright Biography

Mr. Robert Wright is on a three-year assignment with the FBI as a Computer Scientist in the Special Technology Application Unit from the Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (ASAMRA).

While at ASAMRA, Robert advised business area professionals in development of operational concepts, software requirements, business case and economic analysis. He introduced automated software and system testing tools. Robert holds Oracle Masters Certificates in Data Base Administration and Designer 2000 System Analysis.

Robert served with the U.S. Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a System Engineer responsible for business application design specializing in the application of a wide variety of Information Engineering (IE) and System Engineering methodologies.

Robert has also held positions with the Army as a civilian. He was Chief of Installation for the Army Tactical Management Information Systems installing infrastructure and applications worldwide that supported the Army Standard Information Systems. He also served as Systems Manager for the C3I Data Base Division of the US Army Electronic Proving Grounds.

Robert retired from the US Army active duty in 1989. Prior to his federal career, Robert held various sales and marketing positions in the medical supply field. Before returning to active military duty he was National Sales Manager for KNY-Scheerer Surgical Instrument Company.

Born in Beloit, Wisconsin, Robert was raised in California; dividing time between Los Angeles and Sacramento. His college education was done at Park College with majors in Computer Science and Management Information Systems.

Robert and his wife, Alma, reside in Mount Air, Virginia.
