David Porte, Executive Vice President, Strategy and Technology, has been with American Tower since early 2001. David serves as American Tower’s CTO and is an active member of both PCIA’s Technology Committee and the National Network Reliability and Interoperability Council’s (NRIC) Homeland Security subcommittee. Prior to American Tower, David served as CEO for Telicor Inc., a company providing Operations and Business Support Systems solutions to the telecommunications industry. Previously, David was the Vice President and General Manager of the Internet Services group of GCI, a regional integrated communications provider in the Pacific Northwest. David has completed post-graduate work at Oxford University and is a graduate of Westmont College.
