Ian Lumb

Ian Lumb joined Scali, Inc. (http://www.scali.com) in June 2005. As a solutions architect, Mr. Lumb focuses on designing and building solutions for customers and partners in key High Performance Computing verticals. With established expertise in performance-driven environments, based on his work with Platform Computing Inc., Mr. Lumb’s focus at Scali is on total cluster lifecycle management for the Linux operating environment.

Previously, Mr. Lumb served as a researcher and educator in physical sciences at Toronto's York University, where he first started working with distributed computing.

Mr. Lumb holds a M.Sc. from York University, and a B.Sc. from McGill University. He remains interested in collaborative science via enabling technologies, and publishes frequently on the same.
