Viktor K. Decyk
Viktor K. Decyk
is a research physicist in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of
California, Los Angeles.
His research interests are in computational plasma physics, using
parallel particle-in-cell methods. He
has a Ph. D. in physics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
He is a Fellow of the APS, and a member of SIAM, ACM, and the IEEE Computer Society.
He was awarded the ICNSP John Dawson Award in 2009 for pioneering
advances to plasma physics obtained through simulation.
